JINGLES HAS NOW BEEN RE-HOMED BUT HERE IS HIS STORY
 | | This poor little puppy came to us in such a sorry state - he was very "stinky", his coat was matted, his ears were infected and clogged so badly he couldn't hear and he had caked and crusted eyes making it hard for him to see. |
|
Where to start?
 | | Because he was in such a state we didn't know where to start and enlisted the help of Angie from HELPING PAWS. |
|
We clipped, bathed and "decrusted" him
 | This was a major task as Angie had to firstly clip his coat, carefully untangling and removing masses of dirty, smelly matted hair.
|
|
At first he jumped every time we moved.
It was a slow job as poor Jingles jumped whenever we moved and we didn't want to frighten him
Angie carefully removed the crusts from around his eyes and horrible yellow liquid oozed out. Once this was cleaned up his eyes were ok and he could see.
Angie then set to work on his ears which were thick with overgrown hair and infected. He will still need them cleaning to ensure they do not become infected again.
After all this we let him have a rest then gave him a bath which he loved.

Ready to be fostered
 | Just look at him now - what a handsome puppy!! He is transformed!!
The clipping and grooming was just to tidy him up and he can now be groomed on a regular basis to keep him healthy, tidy and happy.
We had warned the foster carers that Jingles was a frightened young puppy but thanks to his transformation what a difference in him!!
An hour after being placed in his foster home I went back to see him and wow what a DIFFERENCE. I saw a beautiful, happy 10 month to 1 year old Poodle Cross bounding up and down the garden fetching a ball!!
