Welcome to Ryedale Millennium Volunteers

If you are between the ages of 16 and 24 then Millennium Volunteers is for you. It is a government initiative that encourages and supports you to volunteer within your local community for the benefit of others, and to be recognised for your work. There are over 200 MV projects across the UK, with over 100,000 young people volunteering. Millennium Volunteers began in Ryedale in August 2002 so now you have the opportunity to become an MV and get involved! There have already been 190 volunteers in Ryedale doing a wide range of things.
