Meet some of the Gang
As you scroll through the following photographs take a long hard look at two things;
1: The smiles on everyone's faces
2: The beautiful scenery in the background
In a recent survey conducted throughout Britain it showed that a huge number of children didn't know that eggs come from chickens, chips came from potatos and had never seen a cow, sheep or horse in a field.
This makes us all the more proud that even while our young Aviv Walkers (we like to refer to them as The Heroes of the Shuls) are enjoying the fresh air and freedom of the wide open spaces they are also learning about the ways of the countryside and learning how to interact with others in a friendly environment.
Just one more thing. Please note that we refer to our youngsters as "The Heroes of the Shuls" - in the plural. We are all denominations, but don't feel that you need to have a child to join us - when we are out in the countryside we are ALL children! |  |
