If speaking or understanding the Welsh language was a requirement to joining, we would without doubt be the Brighton Welsh Male Quartet!! There is no requirement to speak Welsh, and most of us cannot ! ! Only a few of our songs are in Welsh, and help is provided with this part of our repertoire.

As well as a love of singing there is great fun, friendship and social camaraderie in our choir. You will receive a very warm welcome, and would soon feel part of our friendly and well intentioned group.

For many years since 1978, we have helped numerous charities and other worthy organisations in fund raising. We have had the privilege of performing in many venues including the Royal Albert Hall, and we have entertained national party political conferences in Brighton. Most concerts however, are given for local charities in churches and community halls.

It transpires that our Choir was first formed in August 1977 by a small group of Welshmen wishing to pursue a love of their native music in Brighton. One of the earliest members
Mr Ron' Pearl is still singing with us !
For the first few months in those early days rehearsals were held in a private flat in Brighton before moving to St. Nicholas Church where we still perform concerts during the Brighton Music Festival.

Many of our present members now have their roots in various parts of the UK and elsewhere, nevertheless our common bond remains the love of traditional Welsh choral singing.
