Positive Futures Skateboarding Project

'Positive Futures' is a National initiative aimed at engaging young people aged between 10 and 16 years old. ‘Positive Futures’ funding has enabled us to develop the skateboarding facilities at BYC. We aim to run skate sessions for young people aged between 10 - 16 years old. Our priority is to engage young people specifically living in the Eastern Brighton area (this means to the East of Lewes Road, including the areas of Whitehawk, Mouslecoomb, Queens Park, Kemptown, Bevendean, Hanover, Elm Grove, Bates Estate, Saunders Park, Meadowview, Kingswood and Milner).

Whilst the young people living in these areas are the main focus of the ‘Positive Futures’ project BYC have ensured that all young people living in Brighton & Hove have access to the Skateboarding facilities at BYC.
