Alan Virginie and Friends (5.5.02)

Alan Tells me that he ' organised a reunion for the 1971 PTS on Sat 31st March this year but the turnout was small. The 3 of them. Luke Kartsounis, Violet Crosskill and himself enjoyed reminiscing about the old days. They met up and as the day was good headed for Goodwood with a picnic. He continues, 'Luke is now a clinical psychologist working in a hospital in Essex. Therefore, he is still looking after people with something wrong with their head.Violet, a Northern lass now works as a community nurse. She told us of her fantastic 2 year experience of back packing in various countries (Asia, Australia and India). Then the bad news was that she had to come back to the English weather. I am still working in the NHS. Unfortunately my attempts at winning the lottery have not succeeded...yet. However,... 'this time next year..' to quote my hero Derek (no not Collins) Trotter (alias Del Boy).
Talking about Derek Collins, one thing we all remembered well from the time we approached Haywards Heath at the beginning of '71 was his laughter. Our train was leaving Hassocks station then.
