The death of Doris Bishop (2.5.03)

I recently received the following letter From Mrs Ann Odey, Doris Bishop's daughter.

'Dear Mr Hughes,
I am writing on behalf of my mother Doris Bishop, who suffered a terrible stroke on the 13 th November and went to Worthing Hospital from my home.
On 23rd December she was transferred to a nearby nursing home where she passed away on 12th January - 3 days before her 83rd birthday.
She is sorery missed by myself and my two sons, she was a very lively person full of life.

Our condolences go out to Mrs Odey and her family. I first met Doris at our '97 reunion where I asked her to put together her memories of days at St Francis. She did this and they appear on the website and have been enjoyed by many people - but I was remiss in writing back to her promptly so she nicely told me off!
