Football roundup and County League Div 2 table (Jan '05)
 | Following their gaining of 3rd place in the County League Division 2 table at the end of October '04, St Francis Rangers had a bad result the following week when they went down 3-0 at home to improving Wealden but by week ending November 10th, St Francis bounced back to form with a 3-0 Division 2 Cup victory at home to leaders Crowborough.
In the League St Francis still had two matches in hand over the leaders. The following week saw them do well when they beat promotion rivals Seaford 3-0. All the goals came in the first half , with Sean Barber opening his account for the club on 10 minutes and then Phil Gault striking eight minutes later. Chris Maynard's goal after 32 minutes virtually sealed the points, which took St Francis above Seaford on goal difference with a game in hand.
Week ending December 1st saw St Francis comfortable 3-1 winners at home to Saltdean with goals from Sean Barber, Phil Gault and Chris Ridley.
By week ending December 22nd St Francis had bowed out of the Division 2 Cup as they lost 2-0 to second placed Wick.
St Francis luck hadn't changed with the coming of the New Year and their match in the League when they lost 2-0 at home to Lancing.
