Alongside Shoreham Harbour
The Association's primary purpose is to promote the regeneration of Shoreham harbour. Membership comprises local organisations & individuals. We make it our business to know about proposals concerning the harbour & to support or oppose them in the interest of the local community. We keep in touch with the harbour management, with the local authorities & the various regional government bodies. We liaise with local groups, many being members of the Association. We follow & contribute to the media.
The Association was set up in September 1997 in response to the publication of the Shoreham Harbour Development Study by Moss EDP Ltd. This has come to be known as the Moss plan & is described on another page.
Click links, left, for other pages on this site. The Links page enables you to discover most things happening in our area. Any local organisation or individual is welcome to join the Association. There is no subscription but we seek donations to cover expenses. Date(s) of meetings appear below. At some there will be a speaker on a harbour topic.
