Hove Lions are part of the largest service club organisation in the world. Lions club members are dedicated to improving the quality of life for many people less fortunate than themselves. All Lions clubs are autonomous and arrange their own fundraising activities and community service. Whilst Hove Lions primarily raise money for local charitable appeals they also donate to international causes. In the last three accounting years Hove Lions have given away £26,300 to worthy causes. The vast majority of this to local causes. This does not include the £10,000 donated to the Sunami Appeal.
Fellowship is also at the heart of Lions. Lions not only enjoy being able to put something back into their community, they also enjoy each other’s company whilst helping others.

The Hove Lions Carnival in Hove Park attracts well in excess of 10,000 people. This year it is on Monday 30th May. From 12:00 there are numerous arena events including but not limited to: Sussex Supremes, Irish dancers, Dorchester Carnival Band, and Field Gun Teams. Surrounding the arena are a miriad of stalls where you can try your hand at winning a prize or simply purchase the item of your choice. Coles Fun Fair will also be in attendance with numerous rides.
