History of South Malling Wanderers

The club was borne out the demise of a Saturday Morning Football School based up at South Malling School in 1999.

A number of dads, with the kind co-operation of the school continued to play football with their kids at the school every Saturday morning, allowing others to join in. It developed from a few 5-6 year old lads up to 40+, all with parents watching as we stuck with our ethos of just allowing the kids to enjoy their football.
