Closure of Whist Club
Sadly the Wednesday evening Whist Club has been forced to close due to insufficient support.As the weather improves and the evenings draw out, people will be tempted to enjoy a game of cards. If you do like the idea of a few hours spent in friendly company, with a game of whist and refreshments then call Mrs Daphne Slaughter on 01323 763246 and hopefully the club will be able to start up again. |  |

Stone Cross Independent Pre-School
This popular Pre-School operates from Monday to Friday during term times only.
The Memorial Hall site caters for 2-3 year olds, mornings only. Session times are 9.15 -11.45 and the cost is £8 per session.
The Nursery unit, attached to Stone Cross School has morning and afternoon sessions for 3- rising 5s. Morning sessions 9.15 -11.45. Afternoon sessions 12.15 - 14.45. Cost per session is £8
There is a £35 registration fee and a waiting list is in operation for places.

SHORT MAT BOWLS
This increasingly popular sport takes place at Stone Cross Memorial Hall . the Stone Cross Short Mat Bowls Club meet on Thursdays,in the afternoon from 2-4pm and in the evening from 7.30 - 9.30pm.

THE HAVEN PLAYERS
Local drama group The Haven Players, meet in the main Hall on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-10pm The group are usually in rehearsal for something as their busy schedule includes a Pantomime in January, a play in April, a musical entertainment in July, another play in September and a Christmas entertainment in December.
