The TCCC.UK History From 2003 : -
At Christmas 2003, We had raised a further £100.000 for a New DNA Crohns Vaccine for Crohns Disease @ St George's Hospital, Tooting, London, with Prof.John Hermon - Taylor.
This donation was made up of £20.000 from a local Trust here in Wadhurst, and £80.000 from a London Institute Charity Raffle. It brings the totals raised for The New DNA Crohns Vaccine to almost £3/4 million. We have had other large donations into the other fields connected to this illness. Tap water a source of carrying the MAP Bacteria which causes Crohns, is to be tested around the Country, for which the Medical Research Council gave us £500.000. Action Medical Research gave us £159.700 towards developing The New DNA Crohns Anti-MAP Vaccine @ Kings College London.

We have received a further £4,000 from another Fundraiser here in Sussex for The New DNA Crohns Anti-MAP Vaccine @ Kings College Hospital, London.
Updates From 2005 to 2009 : -
After Raising £1.5 million From ALL Our Very Kind Private Supporters, To Get The New DNA Crohns Vaccine To A Reality, Through Science, Research and Development At St George's Hospital (now in 2008 @ Kings College London ), We Still Need To Raise More of The £700.000 To Get Us Through This Final Stage to Manufacture.
We now URGENTLY have a further £550.000 to raise for The New DNA Crohns Vaccine @ St George's Hospital for the end of this year 2006 and for January 2007 through to 2009. This will enable us to put The New DNA Crohns Vaccine through all it's trials & testing, human testing, licencing and through to it's manufacture stage, which will be a further cost of £1.5 million. This Final Sum £1.5 million Is To Be Raised By A Private Company Of Shareholders. Any help to raise this £550.000 would be very gratefully welcome, Thankyou.

PREVIOUS NEWS OF FUNDS UPDATE @ 8TH MAY 2005.
Following an application for funding made by the Prof to the NACC, I am pleased to announce on this website that the NACC ( National Association for Crohns & Colitis ) has given a very generous donation of £89000.00 over 2 years for the Prof's work into The DNA Crohns Vaccine @ St George's Hospital.
This funding will go towards enabling Prof. John Hermon-Taylor and his chief scientist - Tim Bull, to develop The New DNA Crohns Vaccine.( which is successfully through stage 2 ).PREVIOUS NEWS OF MORE FUNDING @ 8th May 2005.
Prof. John Hermon-Taylor has received a very large private donation of £100.000 @ St George's Hospital from a very kind family who have been affected by Crohns.This fantastic and extremely generous donation will mean now this New DNA Crohns Vaccine will be coming a reality a lot sooner.
Let us now hope that this will mean the END to ALL the Terrible Agonising PAIN and Extreme Suffering by Crohns Sufferers and their Families............ Tim Page @ TCCC.UK.

The Prof JHT is moving hospitals in the New Year, to a new lab at the Kings College London hospital. All the funds will follow him, and the current DNA Crohns Vaccine account remains inplace at St Georges until the end of January 2008. *** The New DNA Crohns Anti-Map Vaccine - Update 13th July 2009.
The New DNA Crohns Vaccine as expected and as always, is a long haul, but we should have everything in place to try to get the investment in place for this autumn 2009. It's £1.5 million for the manufacture of both the vaccine components, but we are going to start with a trial of MVA.HAV + MVA.HAV.
The manufacture and regulatory approval of this initial trial should be much easier. The manufacture cost of this MVA.HAV is going to be a more manageable £460,000..the first trial will cost probably double that at £ 920.000.

We still really need more funds to get this new dna vaccine through it's trials, and to support the successful medical introduction of the new smart test, invented by Prof JHT, which detects and quantifies hundreds of MAP in a Crohns sufferer. It is even harder going in these severe economic times, but people are still falling severely ill with Crohns Disease, especially children, as MAP also gets stronger and more widespread.*** Please if you can help us to help you or others suffering this horrendous illness, which causes so much pain and suffering and takes so much away from the individual and their families. Please do get in touch with either the Prof John Hermon Taylor or myself. We really need to stamp out Crohns before it takes over as a leading illness, and then it will be too late as the Prof JHT predicts in his Doomsday paper, which can now be found on here in the menu.
