Author and Campainer for Children's Human Rights


Born in 1928, Eddie followed his Father and his Grandfather before him into Kilmarnock Academy, which was renowned for many successes including Alexander’s, another member of the local Fleming family - famous later for discovering Penicillin.


In 1943, aged 15, Eddie enrolled as a student at RAF Cranwell then after the war – hiking on the continent, footloose and fancy free, he finally ended up in San Sebastian Jail, accused of plotting against General Franco. Subsequently, on arriving in London still free but penniless, having sown his wild oats – another change in direction prompted by a desire to live comfortably and earn a regular income, he built a successful life as a civil engineer then as an entrepreneur he retired at 70 to research new medical science discoveries; 3 years later writing his first book, followed by other books while campaigning for Children’s human rights.

Now almost 80, he plans to carry on exposing injustices he encounters almost on a daily basis.
