Better luck next time !!

An inter club boat match with Weston Super Mare SAA on the 12th August saw four stout and true members battle it out for the illustrious Toilet Seat Trophy, a wonderful and much sought after prize comprising of a bog standard toilet seat. The match took place out of Burnham on Sea.
The team comprising of "Rocket" Ron Weaver, Richard "Fish On" Pettitt, Ian "Magic"McLean and John "any fish here" Rowlands produced stunning results with "Rocket" Ron not registering a bite, "fish on" Pettitt managing to convince one thornback it was a good idea to swim up to his bait, Rowlands managing to drop the only fish he had all day and Magic dazzling us with his skills and hauling a couple of thornbacks.
In response the Weston boys laughed at our efforts and whupped us good with each member managing to secure the sercvices of compliant thornbacks and congers and they were comfortable winners by over 100 points. Well done to them for showing the way.
