Originally trained in classical ballet and later as a coach for Rhythmic Gymnastics, Cheryl finds that Tai Chi incorporates her love of dance and movement with her interest in energy work, complimentary therapies and meditation techniques; her aim, to share the benefits and pleasure of Tai Chi and Qigong practice with as many people as she can, empowering them towards a more healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Cheryl is also qualified as a therapist in Indian Head Massage, Hand Reflexology and Colour Therapy.

"

“With the current trend towards holistic therapy and exercise I feel that both Tai Chi and Qigong have a tremendous amount to offer. On the physical side, the exercises are gentle yet effective. On an internal level, stress, a contributor to so many ailments and disharmony, can be relieved. I really do believe these Arts offer something for everyone. However, each person needs to find the approach that best suits his or her purpose as teaching methods and class content may vary considerably.

The Tai Chi journey is a varied one, only you can discover where it will lead. ”
