Jayne Storey’s Chi-Power™ Sports

Chi-Power™ Sports

Where Sports Science Meets
the Eastern Energy Arts

Chi-Power ™ Golf
is on the cutting edge of the new sports movement, which has been gathering pace for the past few decades.

The interest in the Eastern energy arts among athletes looking to achieve their fullest potential is now unprecedented. From Michael Murphy's "Golf in the Kingdom" to Dan Millman's "Warrior Athlete"; the "Inner Game" concept of Timothy Gallwey and the pioneering research into "the sporting zone" conducted by Felicity Heathcote (Psychologist to the Irish Olympic Team) and Jerry Lynch (TaoSports USA).

Whether you train as a professional, amateur or as part of your recreational and leisure pursuits, practising the Eastern energy arts such as Chi Kung (energy training) and T'ai Chi (internal boxing) will upgrade the basic functioning of your nervous system, and can improve your balance, co-ordination, flexibility, reflexes, speed, strength and stamina, and of course, vastly improve your mental game skills.

Combining running, golf, cycling, swimming, tennis, boxing, weight-training, snow-boarding – indeed any sporting activity, with training in traditional Eastern practices such as Chi Kung, Meditation or T’ai Chi, will increase your ability to release effortless power, improve your efficiency and economy of motion, develop your mental intent (winner's mind-set), create a more stable core region and enhance relaxation of your body-mind. You will also learn how to generate ground-strength (peng) in order to use gravitational force in your swing, serve, sprint, dive, half-pipe etc and learn to move from your body's natural fulcrum or centre of gravity (t'an tien), thus developing unity of motion and increasing your natural force.

Please note, Chi-Power Sports training has been tried and tested at the highest levels, including Junior Olympics, Elite-Masters and PGA Tour Players.

Here’s what other golfers are saying:

"Chi-Power Golf has opened up a whole new dimension to the way I can improve my golf. My understanding of correct posture, balance, and power is now far more refined and advanced”.
Alex Saary, Head Teaching Professional - Slinfold Golf Academy

"Using her vast experience as a T'ai Chi instructor, Jayne has developed an inventive golf specific programme that will allow you to bridge that all important gap between the driving range and taking your ‘A’ game to the 1st tee”.
Mark Janes, Director of Instruction, Mark Janes Golf Academy

"Learning the Chi-Power Golf method can give the golfer a simple way to develop a powerful swing”.
Hans Braasch, President - Golf Association of Hamburg

"Chi-Power Golf is the missing link in mental game training. It offers golfers a way to experience the ‘here and now’, which is invaluable in terms of concentration and relaxation”.
Jamie Edwards, Director – Trained Brain Ltd

"I recently had the pleasure of talking with Jayne Storey about her work with golfers. I was really excited about and interested in her concepts. Several days later, I competed in a Southern Ohio PGA tournament, and decided to focus on her concept of being physically centered as I swung the club. The results were amazing, as I was able to hit 17 greens in regulation and shot an easy 69...a phenomenal ball striking round for me! The feelings of balance, centeredness, and effortless power were great to experience. I can't wait to learn more from Jayne, as I'm sure she has discovered the secrets of peak performance golf".

Paul Hobart, PGA Professional - Founder of the Golfer's World Summit"
