10 wicket win for civil

civil service under 15's won by 10 wickets against a poor north petherton team. civil won the toss and ollie isles elected to bowl first on a wet wicket with the outfield very slow. civil didnt get off to the best of starts with lewis knight and neil martin's first over's didnt bring a wicket and had some runs hit off them. but fast bowler lewis got the breakthrough with a catch by matt weaver who played for them cus the under 13's didnt have a match and joey green-peace was away. it was a big breakthrough and a good catch to get owen irish out. neil martin had some runs hit off his bowling but lewis kept it tight. they came off and matt buswell and phil stokes replaced them. buzzy immediatley found his rythum with soem accurate bowling and stokesy kept it staright but buzzy came out main man with a good wicket haul of 6 for 6. buzzy bowled superbly with some nice bowling getting them out with catches. one took by dan upsher and some boweld and one lbw. phil got his reward with a straight bowl which got his middle stump. buzzy went off to a well derserve clap. ollie isles came and bowled a tight over only letting one run go. and sam wilkinson got the last batsmen lbw to finsih them 30 all out.
sam and phil went to open the batting for the first time togther and batted beautifully. with some good running and nice shots by the pair they hit petherton off by 7.2 overs. it was a good display but the only down point is that the other team well to put in a one word crap. there next three games will be there hardest.
