Research and Archive Facility at The Heritage centre
This is the research centre of the museum. Microfilmed details of local parish registers and censuses, and a wide range of paper-based information is held here. Those tracing their family history or just seeking details of a relative in this area, will find much to help them, as will those researching aspects of the history of Crewkerne and the neighbouring villages. Information can be copied for a modest charge. We are not able to undertake lengthy research for people, but for an initial enquiry, why not telephone us details of what you are seeking?
