A successful grading took place for DSKC and Callington SKC at Devonport High school for Girls.

Dan grading at St.Ives 4.11.07

Mark Brimacombe was successful in gaining his 3rd Dan(Sandan).

Emily Nutbean was also successful in gaining her 1st Dan(Shodan).

A special All Grades Course and Grading took place on Saturday 14th June 2008. The course was well attended by several clubs and it was nice to see a few new faces in the DSKC Dojo. Sensei Gerry Breeze and Sensei Putt put the students through thier paces, with the session being held over three hours, and a change of instructor at the half way point. Kata Kumite and Kihon were all covered by both Sensei's. Training was followed by a grading for Kyu and Dan Grades. Three club members - Emily Keift, Amy Bloodworth and Georgia Samuels were awarded thier 7th Kyu, while Cory Greep obtained his 4th Kyu. Congratulations also go to those students from Callington and Salisbury who graded. Four club members took and passed thier Shodan (1st Dan)examination, these students were Rebecca Nutbean, Tom Collier, Ryan McCully and Leweis Cheek. Well done to all of you!
