All about ESCAPE

Set up in early 2000 and now a registered charity, ESCAPE Support Group's prime aim is to create stimulating and fun activities for special needs' children, their parents, siblings and carers. Through these activities all those involved gain enormous and invaluable support from one another.

WHAT DO WE DO?
We provide a varied programme of events to suit all ages.
Regular activities for the whole family include swimming sessions, fun mornings, visits to local cinema plus much more.
For the parents and carers we hold regular coffee and chat meetings, speakers and social events.
In the holidays we arrange special days out. Longleat, Butlins, Paignton Zoo, hiring our own cinema, beach visits and picnics are some of our holiday specials

WHERE ARE WE?
Our regular activites are generally based in and around Taunton Deane. The majority of our families come from the Taunton and Wellington areas, but we also have families who join in from Devon, Minehead, Chard and Bridgwater. Everyone is welcome.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
ESCAPE's regular activities carry a small nominal charge but many are free! Charges for our holiday outings are usually subsidised and include entrance and transport, therefore always represent great value for money.

WHO CAN JOIN?
You can. ESCAPE embraces all special children, their parents, siblings and carers.
