In the beginning - and others

The first recorded internment is:

Alfred WHEELER, Son of William Wheeler, a Tailor, of Butts, Frome, age 10 weeks. Buried on September 7 1851, No 1 Infants Ground Section E Ceremony performed by CJ Middleditch.

There are therefore NO RECORDS prior to this date and burials would either have taken place in the Parish Church Yards or individual Free Church Grave Yards.

Entry number 1904 reads:

DELLARRIFFE YEOMAN, Wife of William Yeoman of Palmer Street, Frome age 56 years May 21st 1877 No 159 Section I Ceremony performed by Joseph Henry Hargreaves.
