Education in the Gambia..we amke a difference to childrens lifes
The charity was formed in 2008 by Malcolm amnd Maureen Marks and friends.
M&M have been helping fund educating children in Gambia for nearly 10 years.
Malcolm has recently returned after seeing the distribution of 45 boxes of items for schools, which were shipped in October.
A classroom for I.T. was built in 2008 at Bakoteh Upper Basic School and a lap top was donated by Redcliffe Solutions. A Taunton based IT company.
M&M were invited to meet the speaker of the House of Parliament , in conjuction with a meeting with the Hon. Soolyman Joof, MP for Serrakunda and als the chairman of the committee for the Governement Education in the Gambia.
Soolyman is very instramental in the arrangements of 'duty waiver' for items shopped into the country and arranging meetings with head teachers to discuss relevant projects.
