from HORSINGTON to MILTON CLEVEDON

GEORGE PARSONS born c 1828 in Horsington, was my Gt Gt Grandfather.

He married twice; first ELIZABETH from Horsington and secondly MARY-ANNE from STOKE TRISTER.

HENRY, son of the second marriage was my Great Grandfather. He was born either HORSINGTON or STOWELL, (depending on which Census you believe) and he married ELLEN SQUIRES of LAMYATT Somerset.

Henry and Ellen's third child (my Grandfather) ALFRED GEORGE, was born at MILTON CLEVEDON, as was my father.

The above was written a number of years ago, when I set out to research my Family History.
We now know that George's two wives were ELIZABETH or BETSEY HALLETT, born c 1830, died 1858 and MARY ANN CROSS born c 1825 died 1903.

Both Marriages took place at the BAPTIST CHURCH WINCANTON.
