Community Event
A community event is being planned for Saturday 30th August, on the playing field and in the village hall, more details as soon as they are available. As well as entertainment, events and stalls throughout the day, there will be the opportunity to look at and comment on the Parish, past present and future. Members of the steering group will be there to hear your views about the parish and any issues that you feel are important. Businesses both large and small around the parish are invited to promote their wares, so whether it's a jar of jam or a motor car, if you'd like a stall let us know. We would also like to source as much as we can from within the parish, so if you're musically inclined and would like to serenade the barbeque, sketch caricatures, do balloon modeling or whatever, please let us know. We will also of course be looking for VOLUNTEERS to help the day go smoothly. |
