Club Golfer

In Issue 19 of Club Golfer you will find a short write up on page 18 that may well be of interest to you. This, I am given to understand, is the first of many entries to be placed in this magazine about Golf Captains Societies throughout the Country starting with Somerset Golf Captains. Some recognition I am pleased to add. Having announced at our Autumn Meeting that this was on the cards following talks with the English Golf Captains in June last year, it has finally been published and I trust you will enjoy reading the short entry and agree with what has been written. The photograph of Harry Bowles, Ken Hinchliffe and myself was taken in June 2004 at the meeting held at The Mendip Golf Club. A motly crew if ever there was one but one that has ensured the future of Somerset Golf Captains for many years to come.
