Presentations Evening 2005

Thursday 28th July was the presentations evening at the Burnham Area Youth Centre in Cassis Close.
Three members of the Highbridge History Project came to present the Trophies - Mary Draper, Eileen Picton and Mr Buncombe. The H.H.P. had given the club a most generous donation which had been spent on a croquet set and the Trophies. Winners of the Dominoes were - Rowena Somes, Valerie Cox and Michael Carlisle. Darts - Philip Dyer, Jonathan and Stuart Robinson. Pool - Steven Porter, Paul Rouse and Table Tennis - Paul Rouse and Stephen Loader.
Barbara and Ann were busy baking and making sandwiches during the day and prepared a first class buffet.
The raffle made £41 - and included bottles of wine, biscuits, bath set, game and cuddle toy.
The club will not be meeting during August so the next Club night will be on 1st September.
Plans are afoot for an outing later in September.
