Mix 'B' kick off their season with a local derby at s.molton against their B team which are the team to beat in this division.W.Buckland B lost 7-2 with half the team making their debut for the B team with DAWN & RICHARD along with TRACEY& STEVE beating the third pair ,tracey & steve coming from 14-10 down in the third end to win 17-14.
On the 9/11/5 the 'B' played marist 'a' away and losted 7-2 with same two pairs beating their third pair. The 'B' finished their pre xmas matches with a 7-2 lost to budehaven with the pairing of DIANA[filling in for dawn] & RICHARD & TRACEY & STEVE winning one each, this leave the 'B' alot to do to avoid the drop.

Mix 'A' kick off their season with a 5-4 win at appledore with JACQUI & GRAEME, JEANETTE & DENNIS beating their 2nd & 3rd pairs with ANGELA & JON beating the 3rd pair also,the result hinged on the last game of the night which jacqui & graeme won in three ends against their 2nd pair so a winning start to the season.
The 'A' team kept up their good start to the season with a 7-2 win over appledore at home with JACQUI & GRAEME leading the way with all three games,with JEANETTE & DENNIS along with ANGELA & JON winning two each.
On the 7/11/5 the 'A' play last years champs braunton 'a' & lost 9-0 but they had two three enders.
Then on 11/11/5 played bishops tawton away & lost 8-1 with JACQUI & GRAEME getting the one which they done in three ends which they had in all their games with four three enders in total. On the11/12/5 played morwenstow & had a great battle but went down 5-4 with the match went down to the last game of the night which the morwenstow pair beat JEANETTE & DENNIS in three ends which all their games were but only winning one along with ANGELA & JON the top pair of JACQUI & GRAEME winning two,which leave the 'A' team all to play for in the new year to keep their place in divison 1.
The mix 'a' team open up their season with a trip to braunton to play their 'a' team (one of the top teams) and lost 9-0 but JACQUI & GRAEME along with JEANETTE & DENNIS going three ends with their third pair but losting so it could have been a slightly different score line.

The 'A' team then lost away to s.molton 'A' 9-0 also so that two in a row against the two strong teams this season, it can only get better ?

The first match at home saw the 'A' team finally gets some points on the board with a 6-3 win over s.molton 'B' with JACQUI & GRAEME leading the way by winning all their games, with JEANETTE & DENNIS only winning two,and ANGELA & JON winning one. so were up and running.
The next match saw the 'A' travel to bishops tawton with ROGER filling in for DENNIS and lost 9-0 with one three ender from JACQUI & GRAEME on the night.

The 'A' record their second win of the season with a hard fought 5-4 win over morwenstow at home with six three enders which west buckland won half of them, JACQUI & GRAEME along with JEANETTE & DENNIS winning two each & ANGELA & JON one

The mens open up their season with a 6-3 win over s.molton 'b' with RICHARD & JON winning all three with GRAEME & STEVE D winning two & DENNIS & STEVE S one so a good start to the season
On the 20/11/5 saw the men win 9-0 against marist who are the weakest team in this league put could only put out 2 pairs
On the 27/11/5 the men completed their home matches for the season with a hard fought win over braunton 'b' 5-4 with RICHARD & JON along with DENNIS & NEIL filling in beating their 2nd & 3rd pairs with GRAEME & STEVE D winning the all important fifth match against their 3rd pair GO WEST BUCKLAND !
The first match of the new season see the men travel to Braunton to play their mens 'A' team.

The first match of the new season saw the team lose to braunton 'a' team 9-0 who are one of the top teams this season along with s.molton 'a' team, with neil filling in for norman due to work commits.
The first home match saw the men play s.molton 'a' and with a full team lost 9-0 also but let's hope we have more luck against the other teams.
The third match saw the men pick up their first point with a 8-1 defeat at colebrooke with the top pair of JON & GRAEME the victors over their third pair in three ends.
The first win saw a 5-4 verdict over braunton 'B' at home with JON & GRAEME along with NORMAN & MICHEAL picking up two each after NORMAN & MICHEAL coming from 14-10 down in the third end to win 17-14 in their final game of the night, with DENNIS & RAY winning the other one which was ray's first point for the club.
