The Young Generation, Falmouth
The Young Generation (YG) is a youth drama group based in Falmouth, Cornwall. Every year we stage a major summer musical at the Falmouth Arts Centre. The YG is 30 years old, and we have won numerous awards, the most recent of which were numerous CDA (Cornwall Drama Association) awards for 2010's "The Wizard of Oz" and 2011's "Sweeney Todde Shock 'n' Roll Show". Several former YG members have gone on to drama school and professional performance careers in theatre, TV and film. We are very excited to announce that our show for July/August 2012 will be "Guys and Dolls". The YG is very lucky to have Trevor Gardner as Director, Sally Robinson as Musical Director and Trenton Spear as Choreographer.
The show will run from Tuesday 31st July - Saturday 4th August at 8pm each night at the Poly in Falmouth (on Church Street). Tickets can be purchased from the theatre, or by calling 01326 212300 (10am - 5pm). There is also a "Young Generation Falmouth" group on facebook - but please note that the facebook group is NOT edited by the committee
