Cardiff Access Group
Cardiff Access Group is a newly formed group. The group is made up of volunteers, both with disabilities and without.
Most large towns and cities have Access Groups, which helps provide advice on the access needs of people with disabilities. This is so that easier access can be achieved to do the things we need in facilities (such as shops, cinemas, churches, museums etc), as well as to other goods and services.
The group has been formed to provide an effective voice in working towards achieving a freely accessible environment for the city of Cardiff.
Cardiff has been one of the few major cities that has no Access Group. To put that right, we now have Cardiff Access Group.
As well as helping people with disabilities, creating easier access you can also help businesses to benefit from increased sales, which come about by people with disabilities being able to easily get to, choose and buy their goods. We are looking for new members to join us. |
