Plaid Cymru the Party of Wales

Plaid Cymru has an established and vibrant group working throughout the Swansea Valley.
With two county councillors on Neath Port Talbot CBC the party hopes to make real inroads into improving the well-being of local people.
On the boarder with neighbouring communities such as Brynamman and GCG the party have been fighting such issues as the tyre burning plant soon to be developed at the old Abernant Colliery Site.
Despite strong opposition both from local residents and Plaid counillors the Labour Administration in Port Talbot chose to give the go ahead.
This will result in toxic fumes billowing above the homes and fields of nearby commuinities.
Plaid Cymru will fight any further expansion and is calling on residents to lobby their Labour members for change.
