Starting Out
 | A well-attended meeting was held in the clubhouse on Friday 15th July 2011 to discuss the feasibility of establishing a Junior section at the club.
In the short term it was decided to hold weekly golf sessions throughout the summer holidays commencing on Wednesday 27th July at 11 00am. We are fortunate in having the expertise of a fully qualified PGA professional to help with the coaching.
It is hoped that these sessions will have a positive impact and that a thriving and dynamic junior section can be established for the 2012 season.
The club has been fortunate in acquiring basic equipment for beginner golfers from the county thus dispensing with the need for parents to purchase anything initially.
The youngsters will hopefully learn all about golf through a series of fun games and practice the skills of putting, chipping and driving.
More advanced players will spend more time playing the course with mini competitions.
Further golf days will take place each Wednesday starting at 11 am.

Rhosgoch Primary School Visit
 | The club welcomed Rhosgoch Primary School pupils and staff for a fun introduction to golf.
After various activities including putting, chipping and driving sessions, the youngsters adjourned to the clubhouse where Norman Lloyd provided them with refreshments.
Hopefully club and school can establish closer ties for the benefit of both parties.
The club has already obtained Tri-Golf equipment which has been designed specifically for the younger beginner and it is hoped that sometime in the near future the children can participate in coaching sessions either at school or at the club. |
