Welcome to 20th Swindon Guides
If you are aged 10 -14, want to meet new friends and try new things, Guides is for you.
Who are we? We are part of Girlguiding UK, we meet in groups called Patrols (parrots, pandas, daisies, shamrocks) - we choose our own patrol leader. We meet in Park South, Swindon.
What do we do? We meet every monday evening and play games, work towards badges, do quizzes and challenges, cooking and crafts. This year we are going to the Big Gig 2008 (that's a Guide only pop concert) and the Malvern Challenge (a Scout and Guide challenge camp for 2000 kids!)

Camping and Sleepovers
Going away with other girls is great fun.
Every year we have a sleepover. At the last one we had an Oscar theme with a talent show. We watched an Oscar-winning film, designed a costume for a film star, and lots more.
We go camping or have an indoor holiday in the summer. In 2007, we had an indoor holiday - we slept in bunks, did outdoor cooking and shelter building, silly sports and crafts, and a visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park.
