The Head Office of Action for Children in Conflict (AfCiC) UK has recently moved to new premises in Highworth.
AfCiC is a charity which aims to relieve the suffering of children who may be affected by various forms of conflict or crisis, be it war, famine, sickness, persecution or simply neglect.
Our current programmes are concentrated in East Africa; we work with local communities in Kenya and Tanzania to help rehabilite and reintegrate street children.
Our UK office staff are always keen to recruit volunteers for their local fundraising activities and events, and we encourage you to visit our charity shops in Highworth, Didcot, Grove, Faringdon and Abingdon.
We are very grateful to the local community for the support they have given us so far and hope that this will continue into the future!
