Past Glories and Titles
 | ALDBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB a very brief look at the first 100 years
The Aldbourne football club has as long history as do most village football clubs. It first saw life in 1887 and was one of the original teams to start playing in the Swindon & District League, apart from war time interference Aldbourne F.C has always existed. Initially games were mainly against local villages and towns. The games were never usually more than a few miles away and many was the time they played against their greatest local rivals from Ramsbury.
Over the years Aldbourne F.C has generally been a big under achiever in the silver ware department. But that has never stopped the club fielding good teams.
In recent years the club has been through some hard times, but we understand that good times are set to return, we wish them well.
