Amnesty International Swindon & Marlborough Group

The Swindon & Marlborough group generally meets on the second Thursday of the month at The Friends' Meeting House, Eastcott Hill, Swindon. Meetings start at 7.30pm and newcomers are always welcome.

Our activities include:
* Campaigning for the release of Burmese Prisoner of Conscience, U Win Tin
* Campaigning to Stop Violence Against Women
* Campaigning for children's rights
* Campaigning against the death penalty, with a particular emphasis on China
* Raising awareness of human rights issues (e.g. talks to schools and other organisations)
* Fundraising to support Amnesty's work.
