Group Meetings
We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in The Friends' Meeting House on Eastcott Hill, Swindon.
All are welcome.

Forthcoming talks
On Thursday 8 May, Jason Matthews from the International Organization for Migration is coming to talk about the work the IOM does in general and their programmes in the UK in particular.
'An intergovernmental organization established in 1951, IOM works to help ensure the orderly and humane management of migration, to promote international cooperation on migration issues, to assist in the search for practical solutions to migration problems and to provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, including refugees and internally displaced people.'
On Thursday 12 June, Sarah Stephen-Smith will be talking about The Poppy Project, the only support and accommodation project for trafficked women in the UK.
Both talks are at the Friends Meeting House on Eastcott Hill and will start at 7.30pm. There will be plenty of time for questions, and continued discussion over tea and coffee. Do join us if you can - and bring a friend!

The Group in involved with the following campaigns:
Stop Violence Against Women
Death Penalty
Campaigning for Individuals at Risk (IAR)

We shall also continue to campaign for the release of our Burmese Prisoner of Conscience, U Win Tin, a 75 year old journalist, who is in increasingly poor health.
