Walking Activities
Boxlea WI members meet regularly to take part in local walks. Some walks are more challenging than others, but all generally culminate in a social lunch or tea somewhere local. We share transport where we can and when this is appropriate to get to the location for the walk. Walk leaders are happy to advise you on the nature of the walk (level, hilly etc) so that you know what you are letting yourself in for! Details of the next planned walk can be found on the events page.
Wiltshire Council have also set up 10 free community walking groups and those local to Box include the Melksham, Corsham and Chippenham groups. All walk groups meet weekly at 9.30 am and are led by trained walk leaders.
Further information can be obtained from Tracey Morris on 01380 734890 ar by email at tracey.morris@wiltshire.gov.uk
