Research and Development

Programmes
The Trust organises Research and Development activity in NHS 'Priority and Needs' programmes. There are currently 5 programmes, and each represents collaboration between the Trust, partner universities( including Universities of Bath, Bristol and West of England, and collaboration with other organisations.
All programmes include a range of:
1. Trust funded research ( currently funded through externally reviewed small and large project grants.
2. Research funded by national research funders such as the Medical Research Council, National Department of Health/NHS or major Charities.
3. Undergraduate and postgraduate student research.
4. Some commercially-funded research.
