"Cast all your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you." Psalm 55 verse 22. Do you feel isolated in your role as a carer? It is not always easy to identify yourself as a carer. You have always cared for your child as a mother. You took on looking after your spouse when they became ill. Your relationship with your parents has been reversed, and now you are the one caring for them. It seems that you have become a `carer` without even realizing it. Did you used to be able to get to church, but no longer find it possible? What does Carers Christian Fellowship (CCF) have to offer its members? A Newsletter which goes out four times a year. Each one is themed around a caring issue and contains articles written by carers within the Fellowship, as well as poems letters, items to encourage your faith, prayer focus and general information. Contact with other Carers, if you wish to be put in contact with others in a similar situation to yourself. Local Groups where you can meet up with others of like mind to share and pray together. We are a national, interdenominational Organisation. Here in Swindon we do have a local group which meets up once a month. This is usually at the home of one of our local members.
