Chippenham Police 0 - Audley FC 5A disappointing performance from the Police team, with plenty of controversy thrown in, including strange penalty decisions, bookings and a sending off. Injuries are still causing problems to the ageing squad but new signings are coming in to bolster the side.Here is the write-up from the hallett's website:
It was a day at the office for Chippenham Police who slumped to a 5-0 loss at home to Audley FC. The Audley took the lead via a controversial opener which was scored by Mark Nolan, another contentious incident led to the Audley’s second, this time Adam Davey was adjudged to have fouled Dave Nolan who picked himself up and converted from the spot to make it 2-0. James McLaughlin added number three before the break and two second half goals from Chris Yeo, one of which came from the penalty saw Audley to a easy win. The Police were dealt a further blow when the lost Adam Davey who was sent off after receiving two yellow cards. November fixtures
