Joining the band

The current band has approximately 30 members but we are always on the lookout for new members at a good musical standard. So why not come along and join our band. We have a wide range of instruments: Piccolo Flute Oboe Clarinet Bass Clarinet Bassoon Alto Saxophone Tenor Saxophone Baritone Saxophone Cornet Trumpet Tenor Horn French Horn Euphonium Trombone Bass Trombone Tuba Percussion We have some brass instruments available for loan. If you play one of the above instruments and wish to play with a local band then please come along. If you play something not listed then still come along. Everyone will be welcome, with a good musical standard and there are no auditions. If you are interested in joining our band then please contact our conductor, Alan Horner. Details are on the contact us page. Membership of the band costs £20 per year, a payment of £10 in January and July. This helps pay for the rent of the rehearsal room. What else can you get for less than £1 per week! We have Rehearsals every Monday 7:15 - 9:15pm (Except on Bank Holidays and in December) at The Cause, 42 Causeway, Chippenham.
