REMENANTS OF THE 2004-05 SIDE

GOALKEEPER STUART GREEN
Stuart is in his fourth season and his claim to fame is he scored the very first goal for rangers,is no1 keeper and one of the best in the league , he can do the buisness on the pitch as well. doubles up as Chairman of the club.2005 may see him more off a outfield player centre mid maybe.

RIGHT-BACK KEVIN BLISSETT

Youngster Kevin Blissett is one of five players i would put on the team sheet. This years player players and Managers Player has been so consistant this season its hard not to put him in any side, can play most positions, idea winger next season as long as he is not poached ,should think about playing saturday football to enhance his game.

RIGHT-BACK MARK THOMAS

Oldest player in the team who can still do the business, very strong composed and confident and at 44 still has the legs of a 20 year old. This season will be his third year, and to think Warminster town thought he was over the hill...there loss.

CENTRAL DM ANDY PRINGLE

joinded the club just before the transfer deadline on the march the third From Saturday side Salisbury Glass, and has been an good influence, ideal replacement for Andy Butler who left before xmas and was never replaced.Andy has since been moulded into the side looks to be the player the side will be moulded round this season coming.

CENTRAL D PETE COBLEY(CAPTAIN)

Club Skipper Pete Cobley will surly be missed when the season starts in september. The defensive minded player has been a rock in his first season for the club.has been part of one the clubs best defensive partnerships and will be forgiven for and only remembered for his classic own goals. Will hopefully return in october to a better team he left in april.
LEFT-BACK RICH CHALMERS

Rich is another player from the original line-up,and another veteran , dogged by injury, has been out for the last half of the season with knee injury.
LEFT-BACK DAMIAN GRIGGS
Another late signing, signed from Snotty fox,the left winger come left back filled in for chalmers, had a very poor start, improved then dissappeared.

DEFENCE JAMIE MEAD

Another youngster who has built up his confidence having never played eleven side football. a tough player who handles himself well but can be hot-headed. but one to watch next season.

DEFENCE MIKE MEAD

Mike joined as a last resort player, and has since gone into refereeing.

DEFENCE JOHN GREEN

John is in his third season, the stocky defender playes across the back four and has been at the heart of rangers defence, but is also

RIGHT WING CHRIS DAVIS

Chris davis , Rangers pacey winger grabbed ten goals this season to grab the golden boot award. The romeo of the squad spent the last part of the season out with injury then a spell in goal to cover the injuried Stuart Green. This is his third season and recently joined struggling saturday side Heytsbury fc.

LEFT WING ROB JACQUES

Rob is one of those players who will drool about himself yet others would curse.the attacking minded player has been a regular all season ,and somehow claimed the most man of match awards for reasons he only knows, this is his second full season .

MIDEFIELD J GLASSON (PLAYER-MANAGER)

The infamously welsh wizard still does the stuff on the pitch and at 38 has seen some of his best form appear in patches this season, the pacey Midfielder has played everywhere ,bar goal this season . His trade mark tunnel runs cause amusement to his team mates.

MIDFIELD ANDY CRYER

The Aptly named Andy "Crier" is the engine of the side, the passionate ball player is in his second season and one of the players you can rely on. Has a word or two to say on most matters, and, can be a bit of a live wire when frustration sets in.

MIDFIELD NIK SHUTTLEWOOD

Nik joined the club From Warminster Town under 18's .The young midfielder is still learning the game and needs a bit more confidence in his own game .

MIDFIELD GARETH HANNA

Another first time team player who has played bit parts this season, strong, powerful ,but injury prone. May not be back next season

FOWARD John BURNS

Rangers only striker, who started the season brightly but after hitting five goals, went into a dry spell and never came out. Improved 100% from last season, holds up the ball well, carries a good shot, but needs to be able to head the ball.May do better next season if the club find a another striker.

Utility Gary HIGGS

Another bit part player, who struggled to find fitness, injury also put him out the game.

Foward MARK Davies

Mark has been dogged with injury every season since joining the Cock Inn Rangers. The striker is back in training after coming through the last two games of the season.having been out for most of the season.Could solve the clubs search for a decent striker.

John Burns

striker john burns 24

seasons 2 goals 8 appearances 48
