Salisbury District Team Results 2008/09

Season 2008/09 Season 2007/08 Two cup finals and promotion to Division One meant another good season for the district side. Once more the blend of experience and youth paid dividends as we progress up the local league ladder. Same again expected for 2008/09 as the squad improves once more. Season 2006/07 Pushed on again and had a good second half of the season which saw us gain promotion and appear in the Charity Cup Final. A good mix of experience and youth bodes well for the future and with a couple of 'canny' signings big things expected again next year. Season 2005/06 An up and down season which was very much better than the previous year saw the reserves finish mid table and make an appearence in the Kimber Cup Final (which we were unlucky to lose 2-0 to South Newton). Settled squad should push on again in 2006/07 and the club expects promotion at the end of the season to be the reward for a season of hard work. End of Season 04/05 Given the abysmal start to the season that the reserves had it is a minor miracle that they avoided the perennial relegation dogfight, finishing a very credible eighth with more points than they have ever amassed. A strong second half of the season with a settled side saw them progress nicely and everyone is looking forward to next season having already signed on the dotted line. Onwards and upwards boys, onwards and upwards.
