Musician lived locally, worked for national charity for the Deaf, co-ordinating music for deaf and deafblind clients in the Bath & Somerset area. He was also a member of local Rock Band "IF..." and helped form a community folk rock group called "The Raven Club" based at The Mauretania in Park Street Bristol in the 90's.
Being partially Deaf Pete has learnt British Sign Language and incorporates a lot of "signing" in his projects and wants to utilize the visual excitement of the language on future video/DVD projects incorporating sound and vision.
The latest project began in the summer 2007. It is a lifelong ambition to produce, record and publish all his songs/lyrics on to the web. Having moved to Sydney Australia in October 2007 his first recordings are now free to download from http://www.reverbnation.com/deafboyone
Pete DeafboyOne explains that ever since 'My first songwriting venture (at the age of 13) I've always wanted to record them to a professional level, now with the advances in technology (and costs plummeting!) at last I can produce my songs to a quality unimaginable when I was a budding musician back in my teens!'
The results of his endeavours are now available on one of his many websites http://www.reverbnation.com/deafboyone
or http://www.myspace.com/deafboyone or http://www.myspace.com/drummedia to name but a few...
