May 2008 Open Evening
| In an attempt to raise awareness of our group and it's aims, the committee laid on an open evening with refreshments. This was well advertised and notified to all the Doctor's surgeries and Clinics in the North Wiltshire area. Posters displayed showed the work we do in relation to fund-raising, awareness and campaigning. For instance £6,000 has been donated through the Diabetes UK "Adopt a Project" scheme since 2003 for research, that is over and above the amounts raised by "Walk in the Park" and store collections during "Diabetes Week". | |
