Latest Group News
We have agreed to commit some more of our funds to sponsor a local child who has type1 diabetes to attend a Children and Young People's Diabetes UK Care Event. The family circumstances mean that our sponsorship makes the difference to the child being able to attend. These events are designed to support, inform and empower people with diabetes, making them more confident about living with diabetes and managing the condition themselves, as well as creating the opportunity to try new activities and make new friends - “the Experience of a Lifetime”.
