Tuesday 1st April: “When you should test your Blood Glucose Level” by Kay Dolman, GP Practice Pharmacist/Formulary Pharmacist, Swindon PCT
Tuesday 6th May: Dr Deborah Mackay from Southampton University on the Group’s adopted research project, on the role of imprinted genes in chromosomes 6 and 11 in patients with diabetes and growth abnormalities.
Tuesday 3rd June: “Prescribing with a Specialism in Diabetes” by Pharmacist Ian Findlay from Eldene Health Centre.
Tuesday 1st July: “Diabetes – the Unwelcome Guest in the Family - Revisited” by Lesley Hitchman, Clinical Psychologist from the Great Western Hospital.
Tuesday 2nd September: Introducing the Menarini Diagnostic range of Blood Glucose meters and HbA1c home testing kits by Josie Blacker.
Tuesday 7th October: “Current and Future NHS Diabetes Care” by Dr Philip Mayes, Kingswood Surgery and Gill Saunders, Swindon PCT.
Tuesday 4th November: Visit by Dr Paul Price, Consultant Diabetologist, the Great Western Hospital.

Meetings are normally held at the Broadgreen Centre, Salisbury Street, Swindon, commencing at 7.30 pm. They are open to anyone who has an interest in Diabetes, and admission is free. You don’t have to be a member of Diabetes UK to come along.
