Stage group arrives in the Dorcan area
 | A meeting held at the Dorcan Complex on January 29th confirmed the launch of an exciting new venture for the Dorcan community. This has been made possible with lottery funding.
Members of the local community are being invited to participate in Dance, drama, music, or working behind the scenes in lighting, scenery or construction of costumes.
Any local resident aged from 8 upwards is welcome to go along to the next meeting being held on Wednesday Feburary 19th at 7pm in the Dance Studio at Dorcan Recreation Complex go along to find out more.
This exciting project has the total support of the Dorcan Recreation Complex User Group and Dorcan Technology College, this group will be a success!
We now need talented people to join us.

Visit the facilities
Anyone interested in joining this newly formed Performing arts group is invited to attend their next meeting taking place on Tuesday 5th March at 7pm. This meeting is purely for those interested to view the facilities on offer. You are asked to meet in the Dorcan School entrance hall please.
This group are also urgently seeking a good quality piano, and black out curtains, if you could assist please contact the Dorcan College was any offers.
At the February meeting agreement that the first production will take place in the Summer term was made with a more elaborate production aimed for November. |
This is the beginning
After much organisation finally a date for all members of this newly formed group will meet on Tuesday April 9th at 7pm to commence using their talents!
Anyone who has not yet filled in a application form and would like to share any talent bursting to emerge in dance, acting or musical can contact 01793 644178 for a form. |
