fC ST GEORGE ended thier best season with a 6-1 win over second from bottom side Twelve Bells. Not many teams have come to St Georges and gone home victorius .Poor Twelve Bells bright start faded away after two first half goals by Rory Kelly and Mikey Paynes 34th of the season. If he is not in the Leagues Mavis cup team next season i be gutted. Four second half goals by Payne(his 35th. Martin Read, Stuart green and sub simon clark finish off the rout. Paulton rovers kept themselves in with a shout for third place after they beat Surset Rangers 4-8. Sureset were 4-0 down before getting back into the game but failed to maintain thier comeback and Paulton recovered to win 4-8. With a point behind Fc St George , Paulton have to at least get a point off ThreeeSwans on 11th may to grab third place.

Fcs prolific striker Mikey payne second half brace was sheer excellence .and it helped Fc St George back to third spot, This was far the saints best perfromance of the season and they deserved to go back to third spot with this impressive away win. Paulton had gone in front from a penalty on 10 minutes and it became a end to end game for all the first half. The second with the incline in Glassons favour the visiters pushed up a gear . Rory kelly initialy grabbed the Saints equaliser after a four man pass split paulton in half. and Martin Read grabbed a goal between Paynes brace for his fourth of the season......see match report

Thurdsay night saw a clash between Fc St George and Paulton Rovers as the race for third spot starts to boil over. A packed St Georges saw the biggest crowd for ages and they were entertained by two hungrey sides, a Home keeper howler and a penalty call that was turned down. it was a tight match for 60 minutes before Da Silvas clanger , Paulton held onto their lead up until the 85 minute when Mikey Payne knocked in Holtons cross......see match report
